this is an all original 1961 GMC 4x4 truck. this truck was bought new in my home town and has been un touched since then. it was ordered with 4x4, power brakes, big back glass and trim. it has about 113,000 original miles it has the 305ci big block V-6 motor and a 3 speed on the colum manual transmission, i have re-built the brakes, cleaned the radiator, new plugs wires etc. and had the heads fixed the last owner ran it hot. it is completly driveable i have tags and insurance on it now. the body is in great shape for the age it has rust in the rockers, cab corners, and cab supports, all other rust is surface or dime to quarter here and there but still in very good condition. body is straight with no dents. the bed is wood but has had sheet metal tac welded over it. the wood is still under it but rotten and some missing. everything works on the truck with the exception of the gas guage. it bounces around and i think it will fix its self if not it will need a sending unit it will be a 10 minute fix. the transmission shifts smooth, the 4x4 works good and brakes stop good. at end of auction $500 to be payed by paypal the rest to be paid in person in cash unless we discuss something else you can call with any questions (919) 452-3646 you also can come by and test drive. please note i have this truck for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early
