1968 Pontiac LeMans We bought this car two years ago to use as somewhat of a donor car for a 1968 GTO project that we were completing. The car is a numbers matching 1968 LeMans, but it will now need quite a bit to get it back on the road. This LeMans was a running driving car when purchased. It was really quite a shame that we had to take what we did off of the car, as it was complete and in incredible condition. I have all of the original documentation for the car including: the original sales invoice, original window sticker, protecto plate, original registration, and original owner’s manuals. The car was purchased in Missouri, and was later transferred to a family member in Arkansas. The car came equipped with a 350 2 barrel engine, powerglide transmission, power steering and a/c. It was originally Verdoro Green with parchment bench interior. Obviously, the car has been repainted red with white stripes. The sheet metal on this car is all original and in great condition. The floors, trunk, rails and subframe are rust-free. The body of this car is about as nice as you will find. All suspension components are there. All of the exterior trim is there and in really good condition. The front and rear bumpers and grill are in great condition. Most of the interior trim is still with the car including, dash pad, door panels, carpet, front and rear seats, and headliner. The entire numbers matching drive train is still in the car. The front windshield and rear glass are in great condition. What is missing? All of the side glass has been removed with the exception of the quarter windows. They will both come with the car. Moving under the hood, all a/c components have been removed. Several accessory mounting brackets have been removed. The wiper motor and wiper transmission are now gone. The right inner fender has also been removed. The engine wiring harness has been removed. Inside, most of the dash components have been removed. As mentioned previously, this car was probably too nice to take parts off for donation to the GTO. Even though we would make more money parting the car out, we are looking to sell the entire car as-is. The winning bidder will receive all documentation and the clear title. Just to be clear, this car does NOT run or drive.
