This is the nicest Suzuki Ultima 250 racer that I have ever seen. I bought it from Dr. John out of Oklahoma City. He started with a low-time bike. After freshening the engine, he put the following new items on the bike: new Dunlop tires, O.E.M. fenders, gold chain, gold anodized Tag fat-bars, wide foot pegs, Pro-circuit platinum pipe, Mikuni flat slide carbuerator, Shorty levers, cables, seat cover, and excel gold anodized rims with Buchanan spokes. I also have a grouping of parts that I will offer to the winning bidder for a price of $200.00. This grouping includes the following: NOS front # plate, front fender, a set of radiator shrouds, two new Maier rear fenders, a used gas tank, a couple of new pistons and rings. I intended to race this bike along with the YZ I am listing on ebay. But after 40 years, I have decided to close the chapter on my racing career. It has been a good ride! I've made a lot of friends, whom I will miss. Bike is sold as is, no returns. No title. Payment is to be received within seven days from close of auction. No international bidders. I put some fresh gas in and it started on the third kick. I let it warm up, cleared it out and ran it down the road and through all of the gears a couple of times. It is a fast bike that runs cleanly with zero hesitation. The new carb. is spot-on. The bike has a very light feel to it much like the Ktms' of the same year.
