1970 Cheverolet Chevelle LS5 SS Cowl Induction Original Big Block 4 Speed Manual Transmission Show Car w Bucket Seats, 60k miles, VIN # 136370L157419 No Reserve! Only Selling due to illness. Originally built for Reggie Jackson, famous for his love of the 427cu. In. engine. The last Reggie car sold at Barrett Jackson for over $125K! Engine is a High Performance 427 from a 1968 Impalla SS which I had completely rebuilt @KJC Machine of NH. and prepared for long term storage in July of 2000, all paperwork included, this engine is museum quality. Engine was powder coated and has 0 miles on it. The car body does not have any dents. Full gauge package w/tach and clock (see pic’s). New clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing installed and 4 speed transmission and radiator serviced. Headers and intake manifold coated with aluminum ceramic coating. New dress up kit needed for engine. Surface rust is forming on painted frame and engine covers (see pic’s). AZ. car never driven in rain or snow. Own this piece of automotive history with a very low starting bid and no reserve. No door or trunk keyholes, handles, electric switches operate all. Polished stainless steel firewall, solid steel tilt nose, graphic on glass and wheel wells, gas tank, suspension gold anodized, air adjustable shocks in rear, this is a fully complete project car. Custom tool kit goes with the car for shows and instant up spare tire with matching cover. Car goes with tires in picture and a set of new Crager 5 spoke that have never had tires mounted to them. Box with original radio and other OEM parts included. I have owned car since 1989, Stored outside last few years due to illness. There is a small tear in the headliner behind passenger seat and the exterior paint job is crazed, cracked and peeling. Needs a Great Paint job, brake work and proper sequence for bringing engine out of long term storage. Gas tank was drained and engine is completely fogged and greased. All questions regarding vehicle will be answered via e-mail or phone. I will answer as promptly as I can but I do spend several days a week at the Brigham & Womens hospital in Boston. Again car is sold as a complete project car and sold as is with no warranty or garantees. I will only be able to supervise car pick-up, must have privately loaded.
