1998 Saturn SL 2 - 4 Door - 73,404 1 Owner CarFax Documented Miles This car just passed NY State's strict inspection standard. It has an immaculate body and the interior is nice except for a slight stain on the passenger seat, a tear in the headliner and a side panel missing fron the driver side console area under the radio. No big deal! The car runs great, but the problem that has me miffed is that after doing an oil and filter change, the car started puffing blue smoke out the tail pipe. The car was sitting for a year - we got it started with a new battery - we drove it 60 miles over a 3 day period to reset the computer monitors for NY State inspection - no problem. The valve cover was leaking oil and sparkplug holes filled with oil so we replaced plugs, wires and valve cover gasket. The car started and burned off excess oil that dripped into the cylinders. No problem. Oil burned off, car ran fine, no smoke. Changed oil and filter and the next day it started smoking. Drove it all over and it generally stops smoking after a minute and runs fine. Added STP Oil Treatment, Lucas Oil additive and anti-smoking stuff - all to no avail! So, I am selling it in "As Is" condition. Since it passed NY State inspection before this problem, New York residents are eligible to bid and buy and must pay sales tax and inspection fee. I had high hopes for this one owner, low mileage clean automobile, but, hey what can I do! This car goes to the highest bidder. No Reserve! No Buy It Now!! No Trades!!! Cold AC.
