Vehicle Detail

underoverunder store 1964 Deluxe Falcon Ranchero V-8 4 Speed car 1964 Deluxe Falcon Ranchero V-8 4 Speed car We have enjoyed having this deluxe ranchero but just do not have the time and room to keep it. Here is the information on how this Ranchero came from the FactoryBody Code 66B=Deluxe Ranchero(bench seat)Exterior Color J= Rangoon Red Interior Trim 651 = Red Crush VinylDSO 72 = San JoseRear axle 4 = 3.25:1 non locking DifferentialTransmission 5 = 4 speed manual shiftplant R = San JoseEngine Code F = 260 CU inch V-8 This is a rare collector Falcon Ranchero to own, enjoy and have for a great investment. The mileage showing on the odometer reads 82k miles. I think it has a very good chance of being original but can not guaranty that. How the car is optioned currentlyOriginal 260 V-8Automatic transmission with B&M shifter Poppy Red base clear paintBlack tuck and roll crush vinyl Yes, it currently has an automatic in the car. It was like that when we bought is some time ago. We were going to switch it back to a 4-speed but just have not gotten around to it. The pedal set up is still in the car. Also the factory metal transmission 4-speed tunnel cover is also still in the car. As you can see in the pictures it has two different sets of wheels and tires on it. One set is the stock steel wheels and the other is a set of painted Magnum 500 wheels with BFG tires. The BFG tires are about 80% tread left. I will take $150 dollars off the sale price if you want the stock steel wheels and not the magnums. I just wanted to show it both ways. This has been a West Coast car its whole life. It was built is San Jose, California, and sold in California. Then at some point it made its way up the freeway to Oregon where it has stayed. Since we do not use salt on our roads, this car is almost rust free. It is a very solid car and it is hard to find one this solid anymore. It had only 4 small spots of rust in the floor pans in non-structural strength areas that were rust treated and repaired. All the torque box's front and rear are in great shape. Even the battery tray area is super strong. Both quarters are rust free. I have one picture of the hidden bed area under the tray so you can see just how nice and rust free it is(could not get it uploaded so if you would like ask and I can email it to you). The motor is the original C4 part number 5 bolt bell housing 260 V-8 that is bone stock with the small exception of a new timing chain and oil pump. We pulled the pan off when we bought it to check the bearings, and they were in great shape. It looks to be a low mileage motor and car. Previous owner installed the automatic transmission, and did a nice job. Has a B&M floor shifter mounted where the original 4 speed stick would be at. Runs great and shifts smooth, also has dual exhaust pipes with turbo/walker style mufflers. Front brakes on the car are about 80% and the rears are about 70%.It has new shocks front and rear. New upper ball joints on both sides. New strut bushings. Newer tie rod ends. New rear spring bushings. New brake lines. New front wheel bearings and races. New rear axle bearings and seals. New U-Joints in the drive line. Body is in pretty nice straight shape with bright poppy red base clear paint that is very shiny and draws lots of looks and thumbs up.When you look at the metal in the engine bay you can see how this car has not been wrecked as it is just straight and true. Window regulators work greatDoors open and shut great. The interior has a nice older tuck and roll crush vinyl seat and door panels that are in above average condition. Head liner is in great shape! Carpet is black. This is a good working/running investment car that you can own and enjoy. If you are going to buy a classic you should buy a good investment. Not all old cars are classics or collectors. Being a Factory V-8 4 speed red deluxe Ranchero this will only go up in value. If we had more time and room we would not part with it. This is a turn key car that needs very little. The reserve is set at a very affordable price. No, I will not disclose the reserve so please do not ask. If you want to make an offer to end the sale early with a buy it now price I think I can add the option if we both agree on the price as long as the reserve has not been met. If the reserve has been met you will have to just bid to win. Sold as is, no warranty.Time for inspecting the car is before the sale ends, not after.$1500 dollar non Refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the sales end. Balance due with in 7 days of sales end. Pay pal can be used for Deposit. Please ask before you buy if you need to use pay pal for the full price of the car. Shipping is your responsibility.
