Vehicle Detail

71 Ford Mach 1 Mustang, being sold as is, for a restoration project or parts car. Car was stolen in 84 and recovered with the intake, carb, radiator, radio and wheels missing. Been sitting ever since; half of the time it was in a garage, but outside, where it sits now, for a good 10 years. It was covered most of the time. Exterior: The body is all solid with some surface rust in a few areas, not bad. Has quite a few dents, which I've shown in the pics., nothing major, all repairable. The front windshield is cracked and scratched up, all the other glass is in good condition. Glass trim is all good, as is the molding trim except two pieces that are a little out of shape. The trim along the front of hood is missing, also the hood hinges are missing. Front bumper took a pretty good lick, got into the front of both fenders; see pics. Bumper cover looks usable, though not sure. Front plastic grill is busted. Rear plastic panel, across the back has a small crack. All the light lenses are good. Another issue is, I don't have any keys, and can not open the trunk and the right side door will not unlock. Driver's door opens and closes well, no sagging. Engine compartment: Some rust on most parts; see pics. Intake, carburetor, and radiator missing. As for as the engine goes, 351C, you would probably know more what to expect than me. I assume it would be rebuidable with no problems. I can't guarantee this,For what its worth, if I remember right, it was rebuilt a short time before the car went to pasture. On the bottom side of hood, there is three small areas with rust holes, they don't go thru to the top side of hood; see pics. There is an intake included, it was in the back floorboard, I assume it fits this engine, though not positive. See pics. I cleaned it up pretty good to inspect it; appears to be OK. Stamped D3AE-9425-CA. Interior: Seats are well worn, with some tears, both front seats work well as far as sliding and folding. Door panels are well used, with tears and broke plastic. Dash pad is all cracked. Dash panel is ok, nothing broke, gauges all look good. No stereo and the glove box door is broke or want close. Small plastic console for gear shift is good, no cracks. Title: I do have the title and it is clear, but....My Dad bought the car, sold it to my sister. After the car was stolen and parked, she sold it back to my Father, who never had the title changed from my sister name. She did sign off of the title, on back of title, but it was never notarized. They both passed away years ago, my sister years before my Father, and I've had the car ever since. Shouldn't be no problem getting the title in your name. I will hold the car, up to a month, for you, until you can pick up. I have described this item truthfully and to the best of my knowledge. Any questions, please ask before bidding. Thanks and good luck.
