Vehicle Detail

This Chevrolet C4500 Duramax Diesel was originally ordered by a player on the Jacksonville Jaguar football team, thus the Teal color. No expense was overlooked when it came to making the truck look good inside and out. It has gray leather interior, wood grain finish and gives an executive appearance. For those of you who get cold--it has heated seats. There's plenty of chrome,--just look at the running boards, steps, wheel wells, and fuel tank covers. Speaking of fuel, this truck has 3 tanks! All total, a full load of fuel is 195 gallons of Diesel. There is a long ride time available, so, inside there are many ways to entertain yourself. There is a 40 Channel CB Radio, AM/FM Radio, CD player, and 3 power outlets that can be used for a GPS Satellite Radio and a Phone Charger. The added bonus is that I have never allowed smoking in my truck. This truck is equipped with the Monroe Air Ride System. This makes a huge difference when driving a truck like this. The Link Manufacturing-supplied Ultra-Ride air suspension replaces the rear leaf springs with air springs mounted to large trailing arms. This not only yields a better ride, but lowers the ride height by three inches at the axle, making the Kodiak's pickup bed low enough to hitch a gooseneck or fifth-wheel trailer without tipping the front up in the air. The air suspension also lets the truck "kneel" down lower for hitching to the trailer. This truck has power. I've pulled RV's for years, and most drivers will tell you, anything can get a load moving, but getting it stopped can be another matter completely. I upgraded from a 3500 truck to a 4500 truck just because of that reason. When a load starts to push and the truck can't hold ... it can be an extremely frightening experience! However, this 4500 has put a stop to my trailers every time without a push. A load can also cause a very uncomfortable bouncy ride on rough roads and highway, but this Air Ride System is well worth the extra $22,000.00 I paid for it. The ride is smooth. I'll make this simple for you. You can buy a brand new 3500 truck for more money than I am asking for this 4500 and you will be getting a whole lot less truck! This is a 2006, but it only has 35,000 miles on it. It's clean, has had only One Owner, and has always been well-maintained with on time oil changes and service. It's by far the most exciting truck I have ever owned. I'm only selling it because I have built a retirement home and stopped RV'ing. If you have any questions, just ask. It's a great truck and I like to talk about it.
