up for auction is a 1981 amc spirit dl this car is a 258 inline six cylinder and 4 speed manual transmission. the car has a black interra with bucket seats that is in good usable condition. the car has power steering manual brakes no a/c. the dash where the radio mounts has not been cut. all lights wipers and gages work. the body has it share of ware for its age but still lots of usable parts. this car sat for 12 years up untill 2 moths ago. i changed the starter solenoid put a fresh battery in and fresh gas and it started up no problem it runs like new no smoke or noises. i spent some time trying to free up the front brakes and was able to drive the car around the block a few times. the drive train is sound and the transmission shifted all gears. i feel this car would be a good parts car or resto project. this car is unsafe to drive in its current condition and must be towed or trailered. the gas and brake lines are rusty, the brake pedal is still hard with no blown lines but the front brakes need to be replaced, starting to lock up again. the floor is good but the front left frame rail after the steering box neer the bumper is rusty. rockers and quarter panels solid. yes this car will start up and move around your yard but no you cant drive it home. dont pass up this chance to grab lots of goodies for your project or build that drag car you always wanted!! i accept cash, bank check, or paypal. car will be sold with new hampshire registration and bill of sale. shipping is the responsibility of the buyer
