I am relisting this car due to a non paying bidder. Please do not bid unless you intend to complete the transaction. Due to divorce I'm selling my first car, my 1972 Cadillac hearse. I've owner this car since it came out of service but it hasn't been driven in ten years but has been in a garage the whole time. I was planning to restore it but I need the money to pay for my divorce. The gas was drained prior to storage; I refilled it, got a battery and it started right up. It could use a tune up but I drove it out of the garage and down the street without any problem. I used to take it on long road trips across the US every summer and its always been a great car. The paint is not original but is in decent condition. There is some rust but it's not extensive. There is some minor damage (shown in the pictures) by the driver side tail light from a low speed impact. The chrome could use some polish. All glass is present and good. The interior is original. The front door panels have some water stains on them. The rear compartment headliner is a dirty (see pictures) and there is some water stains around the rear side windows. There is a GM style power accessory switch in the driver's door and I suspect the car may have power locks but I never looked into it. When I bought the car it was from out of province I had it inspected and passed. I've had the rear leaf springs replaced with new custom ones. I've had U joints in the driveshaft replaced and new bushings on the control arms. The radio is old but not original, as far as I can tell. A few problems are evident. In heavy rain the rear side windows leak a little as do the front doors. The front passenger door sags a bit and the lock is sticky. The interior dash clock does not work. I can only find three hubcaps and the passenger side fender skirt is missing. Also missing is the driver side lower dash and it doesn't come with a battery. All of the missing parts are normal Cadillac parts and are easily had. Included with the car are a set of funeral flags in excellent condition and cast name plates (in the number two door windows, which show the name of the funeral home) that I bought. Buyer must take delivery within two weeks of auction close. The casket it NOT included in the auction. Buyers are more than welcome to inspect the vehicle in person BEFORE the auction ends. Do all of your homework and due diligence before the auction ends and bid accordingly!!!! Please do not assume anything and DO ask questions you might have in regard to this car. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral or written statements about the vehicle. $500 Deposit via PayPal is due within 48 hours after the end of the auction, and winning bidder must contact me within 72 hours to arrange payment and shipping details. The balance (cash...in person, certified bank/cashier’s) is due within 7 days after the end of the auction!! No Exceptions!!! All financial transactions must be completed before vehicle delivery. Please have all of your finances ready to meet the terms of sale! If you need any special arrangements in regard to the payment, please let me know in a timely manner. If terms of sale are not met (deposit within 24 hours, and full payment within 7 days), that bidder will be reported to e-bay, and the car will be relisted!!
