BE PREPARED TO BUY! NO NEED TO WAIT!!! This is one fine work of art! This 1956 Series 62 Cadillac started life as a 4dr. sedan. After alot of work and talent it now is a 2dr. convertible with alot of custom works done. First, 17 inches were removed from the frame and body and reinforced as needed. Then a 1964 Chevy Biscayne donated the windshield and pillars, which is laid back for just the right look, and the 64 dash was also neatly integrated. The custom convertible top and frame are taken from a 1965 Buick. The original 56 Cadillac wheels and hubcaps compliment the look. The bucket seats are from a 1994 Chevy s-10 pickup and the rear seat and armrests/quarters are custom made. The console is from a Chrysler. Powering this cool car is a mid 70's 500ci engine and 400 turbo transmission including the original steel batwig air cleaner. The car runs and drives great and cruises straight down the interstate. Lights are working and car is drivable. The chain steering wheel is not included (it was a gift) but an original steering wheel is. The exterior trim is included with the sale along with alot of extra parts. There are no rust repairs needed, just finish some cosmetics and you are show ready. The car has won awards as is... including best under construction. The workmanship on the car is top notch!The body lines look great! I am selling this car for a friend. The car is being sold due to an illness to pay for medical costs. It is being sold for WAY less than what it would take to build it, and WAY WAY less than a regular convertible. The speedometer, oil and temp gauges work, others will need to be reconeected. The heater works, turn signals work. There is a plexiglas window template on the passengers side and other templates made for the side windows. They are manual. There is a button installed to open the dooors since the door handles have been shaved. The top is manual. Thanks for all the interest!!
