For Sale is a beautifully restored 1974 CB750K4. Two years were spent locating NOS parts worldwide to complete this award winning motorcycle. It has 2609 miles since the complete restoration and engine rebuild by certified mechanic. The bike was a 1st place winner at the Del Mar Concours De Elegance (San Diego) and was also displayed at the San Diego Automotive Museum serval years in a row. It is a great riding bike with outstanding handling and lots of power -t almost too nice to ride. This bike a great example of Honda's technology and market dominance during the late 60's and early 70's. Restoring this bike was a lobor of love - the bike was completely disassembled and then rebuilt with every part replaced as necessary to bring the bike to new condition. All seals - bearings - gaskets - everything was replaced to basically have a new bike once completed. A few minor enhancements were made (electronic ignition / 836 kit in rebuilt engine / upgraded chain) were made to make the bike very ridable if the new owner so desires without detracting from the stock appearance of the bike. The paint / chrome work and engine rebuild/tuning were accomplished by professionals - I completed the remainder of the restoration. Here's a summary of the work completed - too much to list: · Frame and all black pieces sand blasted and powder coated · New chromed (triple plated) front and rear fenders – tail light assy. · New spokes and (triple plated chrome) rims · New progressive springs in front shocks – smoother ride · Completely rebuilt engine by certified mechanic – over $3K spent - New Pistons (836 kit installed), mild cam, electronic ignition, new cam tensioners, new cam chain, new stator, carbs rebuilt and sync’d – engine painted in Honda colors · NOS Exhaust system (sourced from England ) · New tires - new brakes - new brake lines · Tank completely restored – inside and out – new latches / chrome covers · Side covers completely restored · Bike painted with correct 2 stage paint by professional painter - new tank plastic trim around bottom of tank replaced · New emblems and stickers · New mirrors - custom license plane HONDA74 · Rear shocks at replica shocks – not original but are modern and provide improved ride. · Tool kit included - color matched helmet included · Engine covers were polished or chromed as appropriate – forks were also polished Many spare parts will come with the bike including a dealer repair manual and microfiche.
