This is a 1988 F250 dually 7.3 diesel with a 5 speed o/d stick shift and has always been dependable and can haul BIG weight.The motor burns oil and would not be good for long trips.My mechanic told me it needs valve guides.The motor runs great and you wouldn't know it burns oil except for some smoke.This truck should be used to tow a boat around town or work around town.I brought concrete pieces to the scrap yard and they said the truck was 5,000 lbs. and the concrete was 6,000lbs.I believe it has 1 ton suspension.I just put 2 new big 65 series batteries in it less than a month ago.I will give you the receipt for warranty.The a/c does not work.I put a new compressor on and the system wouldn't hold freon.I'm 99% sure it needs an evaporator.Good thing it has working power windows and a rear sliding window.This truck also has wing windows that open and captain seats with 2 armrests on each seat.Very comfortable.It's an XLT and is loaded when new.It has tilt wheel,and cab top lights.the back seat folds into a big flat storage area or a bench seat for kids.The cab has some rust and a rot hole in the drivers door jamb.The bed is rust free except where it was scraped from loading stuff.The tires are average.The engine runs great but does smoke.I had injectors and injector pump put in about 3 years ago.This is a great work truck.I can't use it anymore and don't have the room to keep it.Happy bidding.There is No warranty or shipping on this vehicle.Item to be paid for in cash at time of pickup.Needs to be picked up within 5 days of end of auction.Ask questions or come out to see it before bidding.
