It doesn't get any better than this. A near perfect 2006 Mini Cooper convertible with Automatic (CVA) transmission, metallic Black Astro paint unique to 2006 that looks charcoal or even a very dark blue in certain lights, air, power windows, Cold Weather Package (heated seats and warmed nozzles on anything that could freeze), exterior Chrome Package that nicely dresses the outside mirrors and a few other spots around the car without looking tacky, Parktronic that beeps when you try to run over someone behind you and BEST OF ALL the REMAINING FACTORY CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY for the next two years or up to 100,000 miles. That's right--it's actually better to buy a Pre-Owned Certified Mini than a new one BECAUSE THE WARRANTY IS LONGER and Mini only certifies the best cars. I bought this one with 9,000 miles on it. Drove out of Manhattan Mini and parked it in my Long Island home for the last year and a half. In that time it's done nothing but give me an ear to ear grin and 34MPG in the bargain just putting around town and going to the golf course. This car has been better taken care of than I have. The only reason it is for sale is because the new ones are being offered at 0.0% financing so I am getting a 2010 in the next few days. Car will pass any inspection. Has never been in an accident (was keyed once--the Hamptons aren't perfect!) but the doors were professionally done and you wouldn't have known if I didn't tell you but I want full disclosure here so there it is. That's it. Top is perfect, interior is the leatherette that looks and wears and even breathes better than leather and looks as-new to prove it. Hand washed, hand waxed, serviced when it told me to and just a joy to own. Vehicle is in Bridgehampton, New York, 90 minutes from JFK or LaGuardia and 45 minutes from Islip Airports.
