I have decided to sell this lovely, classic 1973 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Series 1. This has been a very well kept old car it's whole life, and recently came out of 3 years of dry storage. The car runs and drives nicely, and I just used it on Saturday for my Brother in Law's Wedding! The paint is quite nice and very glossy, finished in a silver-blue metallic paired to a lovely deep red leather interior. The body is very solid, no signs of rust at all, the interior is nice, but carpets have deteriorated from rubber floor mats, the carpets have wear under the mats, so will need new carpeting at some point. The car handles well, shifts nicely and has good performance. However as a result of it's long storage, the rear ride height cylinders seals have begun leaking. the car still sits right, but there is fluid seepage. I have ordered a new seal kit for both sides, and will include the new seals with the car any brake shop can install these seals, so not a tough fix. after the seals are in the brakes will need bleeding. other then that it is really very nice! This car has current Alberta Licence plates, Registration and insurance. The carpets were going to be replaced last year, had them out to use as a template, never got around to it, and at some point the floor sill plates that cover the carpet were misplaced, they are available on the internet though. In all, this is an amazing car for this price, engine sounds great, the body is rock solid, and the car shifts and drives very nice. I have many receipts, including receipts for a complete brake overhaul about 4 years ago. I am listing the car with a very reasonable reseve price. I also may decide to list this car locally, and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. please ask any questions in advance, I am selling this as a running driving car in need of some finishing TLC, so sold as is.
