Extremely nice 1988 VW Vanagon GL Wolfsburg Edition. Low mileage Vanagons in this condition are hard to find. This two owner, 52K original mile van has spent its entire life in, first Georgia, and currently in North Carolina, never exposed to nasty winter roads. Options: Full Factory options, including: Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Brakes, Windows and locks. Cruise control, A/C, front and rear heater, rear wiper and washer, heated rear defroster and Factory AM/FM Cassette. All options and accessories function as they should. Interior: The Non Smoker cloth interior features seating for seven adults. The rear seat folds into a comfortable Queen size bed. 2 rear facing, removable seats. Flip up table, and full set of Factory privacy curtains. The interior is in overall excellent condition with a few, very minor flaws. Exterior: This van is RUST FREE. The paint appears to be mostly original, has a very nice shine, with only minor wear, consistent with age and mileage. Recent service: Engine oil and filter changed. Transmission fluid and filter changed. New belts. A/C updated to R134A and blows cold. Cooling system inspected and no leaks found. Has the correct VW Blue anti freeze. Brakes inspected and are in good condition. Tires are nearly new and show even wear. All lights and accesories checked and fully functional. This is truly a nice VW. Starts, runs, shifts, and drives as it should, with no leaks, smoke or other known problems. Overall a very good to excellent van. The bold print: I am listing this for a good friend who is a VW collector/driver and has very limited internet connection. All questions will be answered. Although this van is in very good to excellent condition, please do not expect a brand new vehicle, it is a well cared for, 22 year old, 52K van. Not new, but very nice.
