Up for sale is this absolutely beautiful Supercharged and Alcohol injected, 1 of a kind, 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. This car is a FULLY documented and streetable mid 10 second streetcar. This Monte SS has A LOT of documented paperwork of its history since it came from the factory. There is between $10K-$15K of receipts for the professionally BUILT DRIVETRANE consisting of all high quality parts. That is just parts receipts not including labor and the actual car. This car has NOT been cut up and turned into a "race car" like you see many fast cars. It still has a complete interior. My RESERVE is very low, so DO NOT bid unless you are SERIOUS as you might be surprised! However, I will consider every serious offer so make an offer if you are a serious buyer. I will completely describe this vehicle below. I have the clean and clear signed title in hand and this 1 of a kind classic MONTE CARLO SS is ready for a new owner. All of the body panels, floorpans, trunk, and frame on this 25 year old Monte SS is amazingly solid and clean looking underneath it. All of the body panels have even gaps and are laser straight. The black paint looks like a mirror on every panel. The hood, both doors, and the trunk open and close nicely. All of the glass is crack free. All of the exterior lights work(headlights, brightlights, taillights, brake lights, parking lights, license plate light etc....) This car has a beautiful stance to it. It definitely turns a lot of heads when driving it. The pictures show ALL, but I will try to nitpick issues in every category. In this body category, the hood had a fiberglass cowl scoop do to the clearence issues of the Supercharger. This fiberglass scoop has a couple scratches/stress cracks ontop of it. In most of these pictures below, the black paint looks "hazy" due how sunny of a day it was. In person this car has a deep rich black mirrored look. There has been a lot of money and time invested in the drivetrane of this classic 85' Monte Carlo SS. This car was built for reliability, speed, and power. It was at the dragstrip 2 weeks ago and ran a 10.96 at 120MPH through the 1/4mile of which you can see the time slip in the pictures above. That was with a 7LB boost pulley on the supercharger and WITHOUT the new DYNO TUNE. Since then, it has been fitted with a 13LB boost pulley and has been professinally tuned at CincySpeed in Cincinnati, OH 1 week ago. This car should definitely be way down in the 10's through the quarter mile now......And im sure a lot of you will already know as you understand the kind of power this car puts down..but I was being VERY easy on this car when making the 2 driving video clips below. Otherwise, it would have absolutely blown the tires off of it...and there is no need for that. This car revs like a top fuel dragster and sounds like a JET!!!! And it has very high quality parts. It has been freshly dyno tuned to perfection so it is as reliable as you will find. I have even provided a couple video clips of it at the DYNO below. Almost everything is nice looking. This car has a set of Chevrolet black floormats. The power windows still work good. All of the Autometer gauges work great. They ALL even light up at night time including the fuel psi under the cowl hood which is cool looking after dark. Also the battery is installed in the trunk with a MT battery box. The spare wheel hump in the trunk has been cut out. There is a battery quick disconnect switch on the rear drivers lower quarter area. I will "nitpick" as much as I see....but all of the pictures show everything clearly for you all to see also. =) With this said, the drivers seat has a small rip on the corner. The carpet has a cut in front of the center console. Both "body by fisher" sill plates are discolored form age. The weatherstripping is also showing its age. And last but not least, this car will need a new headliner installed to make it complete. Ill let the rest of the pics do the talking... Its amazing how many people are wanting this car....But no one has made a serious offer. I have been asked the same question a few times now so I am adding the answer to the auction for all to see. Question This car does not have a roll cage but runs 10 second times in the quarter mile? Answer This is more of a street car then a dragrace car that has been beat on. This 85' Monte SS was built to be very fast, but 100% streetable... It only has had 2 passes a few weeks ago at the dragstrip. The 1st pass was 11.13. The 2nd pass was 10.96 as seen on the timeslip picture provided in this auction. After the dragstrip, it was taken to be dynotuned as also shown in the pictures in the auction. Now it is perfectly tuned with a 13LB boost pulley instead of the 7LB pulley...so it should without a doubt be WAY down in the 10second times!!!
