Vehicle Detail
1993 BMW K75S in good shape. I’m the third owner of the bike and have owned it for the past 3 years, all regular maintenance done to the bike. The bike starts right up and will run like a tank with regular maintenance, this bike will last a lifetime. It has 30k miles which translates to around 2k a year. When I purchased it, it had 24k miles and I’ve put on about 6k. I had new Metzler tires, battery and brakes put on 1.5 years back. I would recommend the new owner will need an tune up, fluid change, potentially a new front tire and the bike to be gone through for next season. The bike originally had the low seat and was converted last year back to the higher stock seat, hence it will need the side covers if you keep it with the stock seat. New bags purchased last year from BMW, one of the handles has come off. I’ve never put the bike down while riding but there are some scratches to the lower and side farings from moving the bike in and out of my covered shed. There also is a few cracks on the bottom faring. Also as you probably know the ABS does not work, which is typical for the k bikes, it can be repaired or you can disconnect it as for it doesn’t affect the stock brakes. I've had the bike in storage since last year and recently taken it out over the past month, i've found that it is running sluggish from a power perspective and there are some intermitent noises during idiling. I believe this is due to the storage and it needing to be gone through from an oil change, tune up, fluid change perspective but will leave that to the new owner. I’m doing my best to lay out any issues as for I want the new owner to be happy with their purchase, the bike has been great for me, I have a few bikes and don’t ride it as much, so I’m looking to pass it on. Clear new york title, if your choosing to ship, can meet the shipper over the weekend, would like to sell locally if possible. Please email me with any questions, it’s a great bike and great value. On Sep-14-10 at 10:10:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: There is one picture with saddle bags but they are not included in the auction, the auction is for the bike. thanks
