You are bidding on a 1968 Ford Mustang with a numbers matching 289. This is an original California rust free car. Car was completely restored 7years ago. Door skins and quarters were replaced do to several small dents, not from rust.. Car has original floor pans, trunk pan etc. Frame rails are perfect, never been patched, undercarriage of car is all factory Ford and very clean. This car was down to the bare clip, with no interior and stripped to bare steel. It is a very clean piece. All mouldings, bumpers, wing windows and anything else chrome were all rechromed at time of restoration. Has brand new carpet and headliner. Updated stereo with CD player. Interior is immaculate no tears or rips anywhere, dash pad perfect. Glass in perfect condition new windshield at time of resto. Was picked as 1 of top 50 cars out of 1600 at Summer Nights Cruise show in Somerset, KY 5 years ago. Car has 122,000 original miles. Has only been driven 200 miles since restoration. Engine was rebuilt at 90,000 mi.. Transmission was rebuilt in Summer of 2009. This is for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end auction at any time do to local sale.
