I bought this car to restore, then found a convertible - the car I really wanted. So its for sale! Its a matching numbers 1969 XKE Series II. The last of the Great Jaguars before the ugly 2+ 2!. Beautiful lines, perfect curves! Enzo Ferrari said that the XKE "was the most beautiful car ever designed" Yellow exterior faded and peeling and black interior - it needs complete restoration. Its rough but Its all there, needs floors , rockers the usual XKE stuff. I have never attempted to run the car, I was told the engine runs but its tired - assume it needs rebuilding. The frames are straight, and appear to be solid. It lived in Florida before I got it, and looks like it has spent more time off the road than on it. its a 4.2 liter six cylinder car with 4 speed manual - it hasn't been modified in any way I can see. Needs complete retoration, needs to be shipped - not a driver. Everything is there, engine complete, transmission, brakes, hydraulics, interior no glass in rear hatch - wasnt there when I got it. It will make an excellent car when its restored, it is a solid base car. If you have any questions about the car - please e-mail me.
