This beautiful 1968 VW Beetle classic is rust free with a body that has been completely restored including 24 gauge undercoated floor pans and 4 new fenders. New accessories include an convertible top, carpet, seats, windshield, and German made running boards. The engine is a rebuilt 1974, 4 cylinder, converted to an alternator, driven by a 1974, 4 speed transmission. Other restored items include a gas tank, and sand blasted (primed and painted) wheels. Purchased and restored in 1997, the Beetle has been garaged since then and is looking for a new home. The salvage title is due to vandalism and theft and not an accident. A settlement was made with State Farm to have all repairs made. Full documentation of the claim is available by request. Minor damaged items include two small dents on the left side of the front hood, and minor damage to lower fender at the back left wheel. Photos of these items are available upon request. The engine was recently serviced which included compression test(passed), timing adjustment, new spark plugs, new battery, and fuel line, filters, and air hose being replaced.
