Here we have a rust free, beautiful Buick Century Riviera 2 door hardtop. All original Texas car. It is a great start for a restoration or a base for a cool looking street rod. The car has been off the road since 2002 when the owner passed away. I bought it in Ft. Worth in 2007 and never did anything with it, so I decided to sell. I took it out of storage, blew out the fuel lines, added fresh fuel and the nail head 322 V8 fired right up. That said, it runs, drives and stops, but needs to begone through to make it road worthy. It drives around the place and will drive onto a trailer by its own power, but again, the very least it needs is a good tune up. Someone bypassed the original fuel pump and added an electric pump. Tires are old but good. They have good tread and there are no dry rot cracks. No, you can not drive it cross country the way it is, unless you know someone at AAA very good. The body and frame are rust free. Only rust through I found is a small hole in the passenger floor board and the right rear bumper guard, because of exposure to exhaust fumes. The car does not come with ac, power windows, power steering or power brakes but is a nice, solid start for any kind of project. Those hardtop coupes are getting harder to come by.The car is sold, as is, where is with no warranty what so ever. Please come and check it out prior to auction end.
