2002 VW Passat GLX 4Motion Thanks for taking the time to look at my car this car has given outstanding service and a lot of enjoyment but it is time for it to find a new home. The Good the Michelins are almost brand new as is the battery, wipers, catalyst converters both sides these where direct replacement items, oil pump (just needed a new sensor) and oil pressure sensor, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, cabin filter, hood strut a I am sure I am missing something else. This car is a blast to drive I just took my cousin to the hospital in it and picked up my Uncle from National Airport so I am very confident in it reliability. The Bad on the way back from the Airport last night the check engine light came on it is the right side front O2 sensor since I live in Southern Maryland it is not an issue for me but would need to be replaced to pass emissions $100.00 part if you are handy- update the light is off for now The heater is not blowing hot Passat's have history of heater core issues and sometimes it is just air in the system and needs to be bleed I have no idea which one it is. The timing belt has another 25-30K before it need to be inspected or replace the dealer looked at it for me when they replaced the oil pump. Please let me know if you have any questions.
