Vehicle Detail

I bought this all original wagon in 2004 from wagonmaster.com about five years ago. When I bought the wagon it was advertised as having a “freshly rebuilt Hurricane 6 engine”. I am the third owner. It is a very fun and wonderful wagon. The color combination of gold (khaki) and President Red (an original Willys color) are a stunning combination. I get comments on it all of the time. The other day I drove it to work (four miles from my house) and I got two thumbs up on the freeway and a “shout out” from a young lady who professed love for my Willys! This happens all of the time. I will, occasionally, rent my cars out for advertising photo shoots. This past fall Lands End used my wagon for the cover page of their nationally distributed Christmas catalog (see attached photo). I am told Lands End received a lot of inquiries about the Willy’s itself and if it was for sale. The wagon looks even more handsome surrounded by pretty models. The wagon has been very faithful. I have taken very good care of the car. Many of the replacement parts have been purchased through a member of “West Coast Willys” who has a massive collection of Willys parts. The following is a list work that has been done to the car by professionals in the Portland area, while in my care: 1. Replaced window wiper cable and pivot 2. Replaced heater control valve 3. Replaced glove box 4. New harmonic balancer 5. Rebuilt transfer case 6. Brakes rebuilt including, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, and new brake shoes 7. Rebuilt distributor 8. New battery 9. New clutch 10. Replaced driver door lock 11. Right rear brake light replace 12. Chrome renewed bumper 13. Replaced window regulator 14. Replaced head lamp switch The car is very good shape all in all. It is not perfect, though. Check out the oak runners on the floor, the fancy fan (I get lots of remarks about air conditioning), the gas cans, etc. I have the original owner’s manual, the AM radio (original) works. All of the electrical gauges, switches, etc., the heater, and 4-wheel drive work. The main issue (that I know of) is the wagon is developing some rust in two areas; the left rear side panel and the tailgate. Also, the driver’s window is cracked, but quite usable. Otherwise this is a wonderful wagon and lots of fun. I will answer questions to best of my ability. Serious bidders only. I will help assist in shipping the car, but you make the all of the arrangements.
