super solid Texas car. to the best of my knowledge this car was last on the road in Texas in 1989. was brought to MA then NH in Sotrage for the last 20 yrs. i picked up the car recently, the previous owner had rebuilt the carb and gave up on it. I pulled the trans , sent out for repair... seals leaking bad and had no reverse, $1,000.00 later I got a complete reuild, complete new exhaust from the manifolds back another $300.00, 2 new rear wheel cyl and rebuilt the fronts $100.00..... real good power brakes now. interior needs help... seats are good. door panels are shot. no carpet. previous owner took out carpet and found the only major rust in the drivers floor. which I have repaired.... no backyard job.... would describe the repair as better than the average body shop but not as good as a resoration repair. bad area cut out and replaced. rest of the floor is solid as is the trunk, rockers, doors... slight blistering on the bottoms of the front fenders. ..stainless is all in great shape... chrome bumpers are rusty but not rotted through... No show car... just a decent, solid driver... dont expect to take it cross country just yet though.... I've only driven it a few miles since the repairs... should have new belts, hoses and tires. then a good shakedown run before heading out too far. It's been sitting a long time.
