Cruise On A Classic. 1978 Honda Gold Wing GL-1000 - NO RESERVE. A Real Beauty. The bike runs great, but is a little cold natured and smokes a tiny bit when first started, but clears up very quickly. I have been told by a former Honda mechanic that this is normal for a 78 Gold Wing. I had him check out the bike and he said there are no current issues except the neutral light stays on. I have just worked around the issue. The bike has a low center of gravity and it cruises like a dream. I have a clear title. Odometer reads 59,819 miles. I have owned the bike a couple of years. I have no idea how many prior owners there have been. The bike has a new battery and many after market parts to include floor pans, foot pegs, aftermarket oil dip stick, heel-toe shifter, clear full faring, light bar and trailer hitch and a near new plush seat. The tires have lots of tread. Bright Yellow Paint, has some paint chips and scratches. I am selling due to my wife having to have knee surgery. We have no insurance. Bike is sold as is / where is with no warranty stated or implied. Buyer must pick-up in Parma, MO or make own arrangements for shipping. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit to be paid via Pay-pal or wire transfer within 48 hours of the end of the auction with remaining balance paid in cash or Bank Draft at pick-up.
