1985 Honda Magna

1985 completely restored V65 Magna. The Speedo reads 41000 but all work has been done in the last 1500 miles. Someone has commented on the (High Mileage) on this bike for the price, As far as I know this is the original speedo which looks and works great. Mileage readings are not always a good way of telling a bikes condition I have seen some with 9-10 k that just had the stuffing beat out of them, or have just been sitting rotting for years . Speedometers on most older bikes can be changed out pretty easy so if a low mileage reading is important to you I have other speedometers with lower milage that can be included with the sale. This bike looks and runs like it has 1500 miles on it. Very smooth and fast plus comfortable with the forward controls and pull back bars. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with this one. These bikes made motorcycle history as one of the first true muscle cruisers with a style of their own that you really do not see in current day bikes in it class. For these reasons I have rebuilt this bike from the frame up, every seal, every fluid and all the soft spots these engines had as in cam oiling and trans gear dog wear issues have been addressed, This is a list of things that have been done to this bike and upgrade modes to make it one of the nicest running and handling Magnas I have built to date. Equipped with: 1100cc V4 ,approx 116 HP and 6 speed trans 6 being OD, liquid cooled, shaft drive, full digital shift range indicator, self cancelling turn signals I may have missed some things but this is most of it. Complete engine overhaul, heads reworked, fresh set of cams and followers, timing chain tensioners, all seals, head gaskets and o-rings, including undercut trans gears from Dodge Racing,and a Dodge Racing adapter style cam oil mode installed from rebuild. Complete brake system reseal/rebuild ,new brake pads,stainless steel brake and clutch lines, fogged sight glasses replaced in master cylinders. New Avon radial tires AGM battery Rebuilt front forks with Honda seals and fluid Rebuilt head stem with Honda tapered roller bearings New Base coat clear coat paint professionally done at a body shop. New side covers All aluminum parts have been stripped and polished All Black parts are gloss black powder coat except front fender All new relay rubber hold downs Spark plugs and wire set Air and fuel filters Throttle cables Modes: WS heavy duty Chrome forward controls Barnett kevlar clutch Round headlight with bullet turn signals and Stabel air horn 83 Magna 70A high performance carbs (just rebuilt) Rear axle overhauled and changed over to 3:40 gear ratio Progressive brand suspension Kuryakyn grips Accessories: Hondaline backrest and chrome 6 pack rack with leather tour pack There is some pitting in the chrome on the wheels and a few small scrapes on the tips of the mufflers but no rust, dents or scratches . $300 deposit with remainder in cash at time of pickup.
