Vehicle Detail

I am selling my favorite toy. It is a 1992 Geo Metro LSi Convertible. Of all the cars I own, this is by far my favorite. It is a blast to drive. It only has three cylinders yet zips around town like no other. Not to mention the awesome gas mileage!!! You will be hard pressed to find another one like this in this condition. Here is why... -Only 68000 actual miles. This can be verified with a CarMax report. I will provide you with a copy of it. That averages out toless than 4000 mile a year! -It has automatic transmission. Anyone can drive this car. Perfect as a first car for a teenager, or for someone who wants an easy car to drive. -Never been in an accident. -Paint is in good shape. -Engine is in excellent shape. Recently serviced. -Has not been driven much. Still like new. -EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE!!! -Cheap to own, can insure for little money. -Top is in good shape. -Has AC -Fun to drive and cute as a button! There are no fluid leaks and does not smoke. I checked under the car and did not see rust in that area. The only rust it has is under the passenger's door, which looks worse than what it is. There is also rust and in the trunk area (see pictures in the link below). That rust seems to me to be superficial. I looked for the source of the rust there and discovered a small hole on the convertible top. The rubber around the top is also broken in a couple of places. Since I keep the car in a covered carport, I have never seen it wet inside. The other problem with the car is that the glove compartment lock was removed at some point and the glove box does not close. I put a small bungee cord there to keep it closed. Replacing the lock would solve the problem. Mechanically it is great shape. I did replace the two interior door handles because the original ones broke. I also have two exterior replacement door handles that will come with the car. I have not installed them. Although the doors open just fine, sometimes it is a little hard to open them because the handles should be replaced. More pictures at: http://s1004.photobucket.com/albums/af162/92metrolsi/ I am selling because I already own too many vehicles and need to cut back so I am letting this one and a couple of others go (see my ad for a 1978 AMC Pacer!) so someone else can enjoy them like I have. Asking $2500.00 but will consider all offers. I have a clear Florida title in my name ready to transfer to a new owner. The car is located in Miami Florida and is being offered for sale “AS IS” There are no warranties or guarantees with this car. Buyer is solely responsible for shipping arrangements. I will assist where I can by meeting your shipping company of choice when they pick the car up. In addition to the shipping companies that eBay posts on all cars, I would recommend that you get in contact with www.uship.com. In the past, I have found that the prices from their independent shipping companies are lower. There is a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit through Paypal. Payment may be made by cashiers check, money order or personal check. Please understand that the car will not leave my property nor will I sign the title over to you until all forms of payment have cleared. No exception. This car will not be sold with an open title. The title will be signed over in the name of the person who purchases this car. You must have a Paypal account to use "Buy-It-Now" . Sorry for this rule, but there too many scammers out there. 8/29/2010: I have received several requests for more interior. I have added 38 more pictures to the photos in the link above. Thank you all. Please ask all questions you have, I will do my best to answer them promptly. If you want me to take a picture of a particular part or give more information, just ask.
