The basics. I am the original owner. This truck was driven, lived in and loved for 18 years, and then the rust was too much. It was taken off the road for rust and brakes. 6 months later the power steering pump froze and has not moved since. I tried to rolling it this spring and the left front A-arm broke with arm pressure. This was the end for me. I would like to see the truck parted and live in another vehicle, rather than just to the scrap yard which is why I have a minimum. Vehicle condition: Rust stopped the truck. It was not smoked in. It does smell damp now because I left a yakima roof rack on and snow/water leaked in over the winter. The dash and seat are in good condition for the age. I have no reason to believe the engine won't run but can't prove it without draining 2 year old gas and fresh battery first. So most of the body is rusted or gone I would say the hood is OK but both front fenders have rust. The bed is mostly gone, and the driver door is worse than the passenger for rust. the lower portion of the cab is bad also. The engine is the 2.4 liter EFI 117 HP new with a 5 speed transmission, I have slick 50'd the engine 2 times, the transmission and the differential 1 time. Timing chain replaced at 180 K before it actually went. It was still getting 25 city and 32 hiway mileage with nearly 230K on it. Again I parked this truck running and registered. It will need to be towed / trailered from this location. I have title in hand if restoration is your aim. I have 1/4 bed of old/new extra parts to go with the truck. and I am also selling seperately 4 good summer tires and rims for this truck. I am selling this as a parts vehicle only, no warranty or return after sale.
