This really hurts but I'm going to part company with the one car I coveted for years. Unfortunately, I need to move to the land of Midwestern winters and don't want to subject my trusty "rag top" to that sort of treatment. This vehicle definitely combines the fun and exhilaration of a convertible with the luxury, safety, and practicality of a Volvo. The color is a dark green with tan cloth top that fully retracts into a covered storage compartment behind the back seat. It has front and side airbags along with a rollover protection system. I purchased the car 3 years ago in August 2007, and I believe I am the third owner. I determined this from the Carfax report as well as the car's service records I obtained from Volvo USA (will provide with car). Since I purchased this car, I've had it regularly maintained in Volvo dealerships. It was serviced most recently on July 29, 2010. Will also provide replacement owner's manuals I obtained from Volvo. To be sold "as is" with no warranty in effect. Mechanically the vehicle is very sound, and I've done my best to keep it "new" or as close to it as possible. 5 cylinder, 2.4 liter engine. The Michelin Primacy MXV4 steel belt tires have good tread and about 33,000 miles of wear (60,000 warranty). 2 doors. Top works great. Entertainment system has AM/FM radio, cassette, and in-dash 3 CD changer. A/C and heater function well. Heated seats with motorized adjustment, power windows, cruise control, power steering. Battery and alternator are new. The cloth top is in good condition with some marks and one more significant abrasion near the driver's door (not that major). The body is generally in very good shape except in the area of the hood. Here the clear-coat covering is peeling off in several places (see photograph), and the hood could probably stand to be re-painted. The leather and interior are in good shape with one area of abrasion beside the driver side back seat (also pictured). Those are the only noteworthy blemishes on this very nice Volvo. I have loved driving this car and believe it will provide similar enjoyment to a new owner for many years to come. It is located in the southeast corner of Concord, CA, near Clayton.... Added Seller's Note: I have re-listed this vehicle at a reduced price considerably less than blue book value because I've decided I really do need to "lighten my load" and not have multiple rides. This would also help a prospective Buyer to further offset the cost of having the hood painted if that is desired. It really is the only issue of significance with this super fine car. NO RESERVE.
