It has the factory 390 4V engine, automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. This is a one owner truck, and in very good shape for its age. I still remember when Uncle Jack brought this truck home, as a 16 year old kid, to me it was the coolest truck in the family. Then he ordered those silly seat covers from Fingerhut and I thought what a dumb idea that was. Now I see the wisdom. The seats are virtually brand new under the covers. It has been used over the years to haul a camper on occasion, been back and forth to the lake many, many times. It has 125,000 miles on it. Several years ago the engine developed a crack in the block. Uncle Jack had a brand new motor installed and that engine now has 34K miles on it. The truck was parked inside its whole life, and spent most of its 34 winters sitting in the barn waiting on spring. The paint still shines, with only a few small chips to show its age. This truck qualifies for classic insurance and plates. My Aunt and Uncle are now up in years and no longer have any need for this truck. We encourage serious bidders to look the truck over, and take it for a test drive. The truck is located in Converse Indiana. Approximately 20 miles NE of Kokomo. It can certainly be driven home, and is ready to be cruised or worked. You can call me and I will put you in touch with Uncle Jack. As most folks are at his age he had no way to put this truck up for auction himself. If you are not happy with the truck in any way upon inspection, no problem.
