1979 Pontiac Trans AM project car. "Rebuilt Per Salvage Act" title last issued in 1995. Title and vehicle id list it having a "Black" exterior however someone decided to paint it white at some point in it's life. I purchased it 5 years ago as a project car and never started it. It's been sitting under cover for the whole 5 years. On Sep-04-10 at 15:50:17 PDT, seller added the following information: NO Reserve Auction. The car is a SE edition as signified by the "Y84" on the ID plate. It has the 403 6.6 shaker engine and auto transmission. I have never attempted to start it so I can not verify their condition. It was never my intention to use either of them as I was going to install a (horror of horrors to true Pontiac fans) 454. I have received several questions as to the condition of the trunk and floor pans. When I purchased the car 5 years ago I only looked under the carpet on the drivers side floorboard and it looked fine so I assumed the rest was the same. Today I pulled the seats and carpet to take a look. As you can see, both sides will need to be replaced. The other area is the T-top section. I had puchased another TA shell as a donor car as I didn't see a realistic way to repair the T-top area. I sold the shell about 5 months ago so you will have to find one on your own.
