It has been garaged its entire life and it has been adult driven. It has been well-cared for and has never been raced, autocrossed, or used in a track day. It has not been modified. It has never been smoked in. The loan on this car has been paid off and I hold clear title. The 3-year/36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty has expired. The car is still covered by the 60-month/60,000 mile powertrain waranty and safety restraint system warranty, 60-month anti-perforation warranty, and the 96-month/80,000 mile federal emission control warranty. BLUE BOOK VALUE Blue book private party value for this vehicle as equipped is $14,720 for a sample in good condition, which this car most certainly is. CONDITION This car is in excellent mechanical condition, as is the paint. If there are any dents on this car I can't see them. There are a few superficial scratches and paint chips, as you might expect on a four year old car, but none are deep or rusted. The right front wheel has a little curb rash on it (see picture). Please see the pictures featuring the inspection reports done by CarMax at 38,994 miles and by the Mazda dealer at its last oil change, at 38,169 miles. The air conditioning on this car blows ice cold. All accessories in this car work as advertised and even all of the lightbulbs function properly! There are no squeaks or rattles when driving this car down the street. The tires on this car were replaced at 22,806 miles and were rotated every 5,000 to 6,000 miles. At least half of their tread life remains. Based on Mazda's recommended maintenance schedule, the following maintenance would be due at the listed mileage: Oil change: 43,169 Air filter: 55,429 Cabin air filter: 55,858 As can be seen from my eBay rating, I am an open and honest seller. In that spirit, I am disclosing the following issues: - In October 2007 someone backed into the left rear door on my car at the gas station. This was a low-speed collision and as such no airbags deployed and there was absolutely no frame damage to the car. The glass in the door didn't even break. The door itself was replaced (not bondo'd) and the door and adjoining body panels were repainted by a State Farm-certified collision repair facility. Their work was excellent and you cannot tell it has been repainted, nor that the door was replaced. The door is perfectly aligned in the door frame and there is no rust on the door. - In July 2009 a piece of metal was thrown up by a truck and it bounced off of the hood of the car. The hood was repainted and the paint blended into the adjoining panels. The work was done by the same facility mentioned above and the quality of the work was again excellent. The color is matched perfectly. - The parking brake must be pulled upward before it is put down to get the brakes to fully release. It releases fully every time and the rear calipers will not drag if done in this manner. Most likely, a new parking brake cable will fix this. - The dealer suggested the car needed an alignment. I have not noticed any odd tire wear and the car tracks straight and the steering wheel is perfectly centered. Again, I believe in full disclosure. You can buy from me with confidence!
