1970 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1 TRUE 63C CODE, MATCHING DASH AND FENDER TAG. ORIGINALLY GRABBER BLUE WITH BLACK INTERIOR (NEEDS PAINT) BODY-THIS CAR LOOKS TO HAVE ORIGINAL FORD PANELS. ORIGINALLY QUARTERS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. NO RUST ON QUARTERS AT ALL. DRIVER FENDER IS GREAT NEAR PERFECT, PASSENGER FENDER HAS A SMALL DENT ALONG THE WHEEL OPENING THAT CAN DEFINETLEY BE EASILY REPAIRED. THERE IS NO RUST ON THESE FENDERS. HOOD IS IN GOOD CONDITION, HAS HAD A FIBERGLASS COWL ATTACHED TO IT, HAS A VERY VERY SMALL DENT AT THE POINT OF THE HOOD ALONG THE FRONT EDGE. UNFORTUNETLY SOMEONE INSTALLED A SUNROOF, LOOKS TO BE A EASY REMOVAL, OR USE AS IS. TAIL LIGHT PANEL HAS GT500 LIGHTS AND REAR SPOILER DOORS- LOOK TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, BOTTOMS ARE SOLID. SMALL SPOT OF SURFACE RUST ON DRIVERS LOWER INNER CORNER (PICTURED) ALL DOOR GLASS IS INTACT AND IN GOOD CONDITION, MISSING 1 PIECE OF TRIM ON DRIVERS GLASS BETWEEN REAR QUARTER WINDOW. TRUNK LID- HAS GT 500 SPOILER INPLACE OF ORGINAL, NO RUST, MISSING LOCK ASSEMBLY, FRONT GRILL HAS A SMALL CRACK, SPORTS LIGHTS INTACT. I DO NOT SEE ANY BONDO ON THE QUARTERS, DOORS OR FENDERS. RUST- THIS CAR NEEDS THE FOLLWING RUST REPAIRS, I BOUGHT THIS CAR WITH THE INTENTION OF RESTORING BECAUSE OF HOW LITTLE RUST IS ON THE CAR AND THE FACT THAT THE ORIGINAL BODY PANELS ARE SO NICE. -NEEDS SMALL PATCH ON PASSENGER FLOOR, REPLACEMENT OF DRIVERS FLOOR, (TOE BOARDS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION) - PASS SIDE TRUCK DROP OFF NEEDS REPLACE, 3 INCH SECTION ALONG DRIVER SIDE GAS TANK SUPPORT, THE REST OF THE TRUNK FLOOR IS GREAT. -SMALL PATCH NEEDED IN REAR CORNER OF DRIVERS WHEEL HOUSE -REPAIR TO DRIVERS FRONT TORQUE BOX, (SOME ONE JACKED THE CAR UP BY THIS AND CAUSED IT TO RUST OUT, PASS FRONT TORQUE BOX IS IN VERY GOOD COND. -REAR FRAME RAILS, AND TORQUE BOXES ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. -COWL LOOKS TO BE PERFECT, I REMOVED A DASH PANEL AND WAS ABLE TO LOOK IN ON THE PASS SIDE AND THERE IS NO RUST! -FRONT FRAME RAILS ARE VERY GOOD, INCLUDING THE AREA UNDER THE BATTERY, NO RUST, -THE INNER FENDER UNDER THE BATTERY HAS BEEN REPAIRED, AGAIN THE FRAME IS NOT RUSTED AT ALL. - THE SHOCK TOWERS HAVE NO RUST OR CRACKS. FIREWALL IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. DRIVE LINE ENGINE-I WAS TOLD THE ENGINE (A 4 BARREL 351 CLEVELAND HAS BEEN RECENTLY REBUILT, I CAN NOT CONFIRM) HAS A MOTORCRAFT 4 BARREL CARB, AND ORIGINAL FORD 4 BARREL INTAKE. ENGINE WILL START AND RUN. TRANSMISSION-LOOKS TO BE A REBUILT TRANS, HAS FRESH SILVER PAINT AND THE PREVIOUS OWNER ASSURED ME IT WAS REBUILT. REAR-FORD 9", I DONT KNOW THE RATIO, IT MAY HAVE A DETROIT LOCKER BY THE SOUNDS OF IT WHEN PUSHING THE CAR AROUND. SUSPENSION & BRAKES POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES, LOOKS TO HAVE NEW RUBBER BRAKE LINES, REAR DRUMS, I DO NOT KNOW THE WORKING CONDITION OF THE BRAKES BUT THE ARE ORIGINAL FORD AND INTACT. SUSPENSION LOOKS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL FORD WITH THE ADDITION OF TRACTION BARS IN IN THE REAR STEERING-HAS POWER STEERING, I DONT KNOW THE WORKING CONDITION, WAS TOLD IT WORK FINE. THE CAR NEEDS EXHAUST, HAS ORIGNAL FORD EXHAUST MAINIFOLDS ON THE CLEVELAND ENGINE. VERY GOOD CONDITION. INTERIOR ALL ORIGINAL INTERIOR IS 95% INTACT, SEATS ARE ORIGINAL WITH NORMAL WEAR, REAR FOLD DOWN IS COMPLETE SEAT BELTS ARE THERE, CENTER CONSOLE IS COMPLETE. DASH PAD IS IN VERY VERY GOOD SHAPE! NEEDS HEADLINER AND CARPET, BOTH DOOR PANELS WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. RIM BLOW STEERING WHEEL IS NEAR PERFECT!!!! NO CRACK LIKE MOST HAVE. GLASS ALL GLASS IS INTACT AND VERY USEABLE, HAS LIGHT WIPER MARKS THAT I BELIEVE WILL BUFF OUT ON WINDSHIELD, REAR GLASS IS GOOD, AGAIN DOOR GLASS IS COMPLETE AND GOOD, WINDOWS BOTH ROLL UP AND DOWN. DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE AS THEY SHOULD AND DOOR LOCKS ARE FUNCTIONAL. WHEELS AND TIRES COMPLETE SET OF LIKE NEW MAGNUM 500 WHEELS AND BFG TIRES WITH PONY CENTER CAPS. AGAIN THEY HAVE NO DENTS SCRATHES ETC, JUST NEED VERY MINOR CLEAN UP ON THE INSIDES OF THE WHEELS FROM SITTING. I WAS TOLD FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER THAT HE HAD JUST BOUGHT THEM. HISTORY THE CAR SHOWS 79000 MILES AND I BELIEVE THAT IS TRUE FOR THE CAR AS THE LAST TIME IT WAS INSPECTED WAS 1980, LOOKS LIKE IT WAS ONLY ON THE ROAD FOR TEN YEARS. THE CONDITION OF THE PEDALS, SEAT AND STEERING WHEELS SUPPORT THIS AS BEING TRUE. I CANNOT STATE FOR CERTAIN BUT HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE THIS CAR HAS NO MORE THAN THE 79000 MILES. I BOUGHT BECAUSE I BELIEVE THIS TO BE A VERY EASY RESTORATION AS THE CAR IS NEARLY COMPLETE AND NOT A BASKET CASE THAT SOMEONE LOST HALF OF THE PARTS, OR BEGAN TO DO A BAD SHEETMETAL WORK LIKE MANY CARS I LOOKED AT. THIS CAR COULD ALSO BE A GREAT DRIVER WITH VERY LITTLE WORK. THE CAR IS NOT ROAD WORTHY AT THE MOMENT BUT VERY LITTLE NEEDS TO BE DONE TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. THINGS I THINK IT NEEDS, REPLACE GAS TANK, TRUNK LATCH, MAINLY THE DRIVER FLOOR REPLACED AND PATCH ON DRIVER TORQUE BOX, INSPECT BRAKES, AND REPLACE THE EXHAUST. I HAVE NO TITLE FOR THE CAR BUT WILL PROVIDE A BILL OF SALE. BELOW IS ARE NUMBERS FROM THE INNER FENDER TAG 263 7 14A 63C 3A 0T H151347 J GRABBLU PB TT CL RM VIN TAG ON DASH MATCHES THE FENDER TAG. STICKER HAS BEEN PAINTED OVER ON THE DRIVERS DOOR. AGAIN THIS CAR COULD BE FULLY RESTORED QUITE EASILY OR FIXED TO AND DRIVEN. GREAT FATHER SON PROJECT.
