IF YOU WANT A STOCK VEHICLE THAT IS LIKE NEW WITH NO DISPPOINTMENTS....THIS IS IT Note: THIS IS A THREE DAY AUCTION ! Up for bid is my 1985 Chevrolet Corvette Targa. This vehicle is in exceptionlly clean condition. It has never been damaged in anyway. It is Medium Gray Matallic with a Graphite gray leather interior. It has power steering, power brakes, power windows, Premium Bose sound system,power outside mirrors, tilt and telescope steering wheel and A/C. It also has the Z51 Performance Handling Package, which includes Delco/Bilstein shocks and wider wheels with a stiffer suspension system. It has the L98-Tuned Port Injection engine and is equiped with the "4plus3" manual transmission. (This is a four speed with an overdrive switch that essentially gives you seven forward gears.) Everything on the vehicle looks and functions perfectly. It recently delivered 23.8 mpg on a trip of 1400 miles. If you were to score the paint on a scale of 1-100, I would say it is a 95+. It does have two very tiny pin pits, but they will not show in any photos. This vehicle is "Bloomington Gold Certified". It scored 97.5% ,obtaining 7650 out of a possible 7850 total points. According to the Corvette Certification Board, only one in one thousand Corvettes obtain this level of certification. The important thing is, that it is in essentially the same condition today that it was when certified. It has traveled only 13000 miles since the certification. The only small blems on the car are a small series of micro scratches to the clear coat, in the top area of the rear bumper facia. These tiny scratches were on the car when it recieved the Bloomington Gold Certification. The car comes with a full array of invoices and repair orders, showing all the maintenance work that has been done over the years, as well as all the ownership documentation. It also comes with the Bloomington Gold certificate and judging sheets, a custom dash cover, a new Premium Flannel car cover, the factory wrench to remove the top panel, an owners manual and two shop manuals. The tires are brand new (last week of July 2010) Falken Ziex ZE512's, 255/50 R16 premium Tires. The space saver spare and jack are all present as well. The car also has a fresh oil change and AC filter. I also installed new rocker covers gaskets. I found the underside of the rocker covers and rocker arms to be clean as new with no sludge deposits at all. Well, if you read this far you must be interested. You will find I am the fourth owner in 25 years, and the car has averaged only 2600 miles per year. It started its life new in California.
