Vehicle Detail

Overall condition is great for a car that's 20+ years old. The pics will pretty much speak for themselves but please ask any questions you may have and absolutely feel free to contact me to come check the car out in person. Drivers side seat belt assembly is brand new (price those...) The old one worked but not very well. Passenger side works perfect. Interior- the seats were shot so I recovered them with Genuine Leather! Not the fake stuff or synthetic or whatever. The real deal. Brand new Heated Seats with both back heaters and seat heater with hi and low temp buttons.. Carpet is in great shape other than where the drivers left foot sits. There some of the carpet has worn away. Maybe like1-2 inches. Hardly noticeable. Dash great shape not one crack no problems. Steering wheel leather is worn on the top. I was going to put a new wheel on but it's summer and I no longer have time to work on this car. Window and removable targa roof seals are all new. The windshield is Brand new. And here is a problem . Our good friends at Safe light auto glass unexpectedly replaced the front seal which I had purchased with my kit and intended to do. Its a bad job on their behalf and so the front seal will need redone. The good news is I'm including the new seal in this auction for free as part of the deal. It sells by itself here on Ebay usually for around $100.00 The front seal causes the windows to have a hard time rolling up the last 2 inches and so you sometimes have to open the door to get that last 2 inches... So in other words: All the seals on this car are new. Door seals, Hatch seal, Targa roof top seals and the front one around the front windshield. Additionally the interior and exterior DEW WIPE seals are brand new. Brand new Brushed aluminum trim kit. Customized 10 inch DVD player with great picture. ( see photos) I made this screen unit fit in the center and it really makes the interior look modern. The cool thing is it's removable and it only takes 10 seconds to install or remove.... Also brand new Kenwood stereo with CD - detachable face plate. 200 watts. Sounds great. All buttons knobs switches are present and Everything works on this car! Pass side sun-visor may need replace depending how fussy you are. The end kind is flopped over a tid bit. Instrument panel functions perfectly and lights up perfectly. There's a little photo eye that controls auto dimming- so when I did the dash kit I was sure to not block it so it works perfect. Ashtrays are new and the lighter has never lit a smoke. Brand new headliner material. All little boxes open and close fine and they lock fine too. Center box has no tears or problems and ALL interior lighting works as it should. Mechanical Car runs great. Fly down the parkway at 90 and she really is smooth. With this recent heat wave I noticed it was running a bit on the hot side. Research shows this is a very common problem with the C4's... Car only Had one cooling fan. The best advice I found on the net to deal with this was simply take everything apart because leaves and debris tend to collect between the radiator and the Air conditioning coil at around 100'000 It becomes problematic. I found plenty of leaves and stuff in there. Cleaned and washed all coil fins and flushed radiator and cleaned all the cooling fins as well. While I was there I decided to add another cooling fan on the other side or the AC coil side. Added a switch in the car for manual control of the secondary fan. The stock fan runs as it should. New Radiator cap. I also replaced the Original Fan Motor since I was that deep into it. Now cool as can be. Completely flushed and new antifreeze! Ready for summer. Brand new Fuel pump and fuel filters. You might notice in the pics a yellow wire kinda snaked through over the engine to the pass side headlight. When I was at inspection they were going to fail it because the horn didn't work.. Give me a break already. 20 year old car that fly's through everything else but the horn... So I paid them the bribe to just fix it and give me my sticker... Horn works now....lol.. Sticker was done in March so is good for 21 more months... Brand new exhaust system... Front brake pads are about 70% . Back Breaks should be done. Didn't have time to do them. Probably have couple thousand miles but will need done... Otherwise breaks fine. Tires have 90% tread. Brand new KYB Gas adjustable shocks all around. Hugs the corners. Paint is new. Outshines any car in parking lot at work. However up close there are some tiny particles here and there- mostly on the targa top. Which I'd simply advise the new owner to send the top in and have the tinted glass installed for around 400.00 this car will be worth that. So the paint won't win you any trophies. Maaco said for 150 they could wet sand it with 1500 grit paper and buff it .. But that's up to you.. Just trying to be as honest as I possibly can.. Right behind pass door there's some body work that could have been a little better.. No one really notices - just letting you know. There's a little 'paint run' under the pass mirror and one by the driver side headlight but down lower on the fender. Headlights work perfect. I rebuilt both motors with the aluminum not plastic rebuild kits. Up Down Up Down..... Greenwood spoiler package. Looks real nice. The bottoms on both sides drivers and pass door area had some cracking as if previous owner hit some speed bumps or something. Not noticeable unless you lay down and look up.. I filled them up with great stuff expandable foam and sanded them down. Turned out good and solid.. Brand new Hood Cables. The cables that connect the open hood with the hood actually opening. Antenna goes up and down... Brand new Battery and Alternator. Fresh tune up and oil. Radar detector not included but if winning bidder wants it left as it's hardwired to the fuse box and that's a difficult box to get to- I'll leave it for an additional $75.00 Tom Tom in pics is not included. I'll add more later or ask questions please and thanks for looking. $500.00 deposit due in 48 hours through pay pal. and the remainder in person on pick up. Would like the car paid for in 7 days. I can store it for as long as you need. The car fax shows an accident or Incident on April 19 2010 . There was no accident!! I was getting gas at the local WAWA and the pump didn't shut off right away. A little gas ran down the back of the car and onto the ground. WAWA's policy was to make an incident report and noted the pump didn't shut off immediately. In the end I got a very small check for my troubles. Other than the items noted about the paint in my add the tail of the car is in fine condition. Note: I have the paperwork from WAWA to prove this is the so called "incident". Nada high book is $15'285.00 Avg trade in $12'150.00 Low $7'558.00 http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-22-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=22&p=1&f=5014&y=1988&m=1035&d=37&o=41176~40292&vi=99679&z=08230&da=1
