Hi and thanks for looking at this 1998 Honda Prelude up for auction. The car has 106,835 miles on it which is not much at all for the age of the vehicle, plus it's a Honda. The exterior of the car is okay. You can see from the pictures that there is a crack in the back bumper, several marks on the front bumper, and a gash on the driver side door. The rest of the exterior is very good with minor blemishes here and there. The interior of the car is very good overall. There are no tears in the seats, the only thing is that the glovebox is missing. Electronically, everything works except the driver side window needs help when it's being closed. Mechanically, the car has an issue when switching gears. It hesitates pretty often and then jumps a little bit when it's in gear. The car can be driven, however it hesitates when I hit about 25-30 mph and then jerks forward after a few seconds. I don't know if it's a problem with the transmission, if the car is misfiring, or something else. The check engine light is on and the break light occasionally comes on too. The tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left and the car also has an aftermarket cold air intake. The car is being sold as is and there is no warranty expressed or implied. I am selling the car out of New York, however it has an Alabama title from when I moved there for just 3 months. If anyone has any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. Overall, the car really is not as bad as it may sound and with a little bit of work can run great for a long time to come.
