Vehicle Detail

I have a 1970 that needs to go in order to make room for a new project. It has power steering, power brakes, power windows, and I have the air conditioning condenser and pump but they are not installed. I have owned the car for 3.5 years. The previous owner began restoring the car in 2001. The previous owner bought the car as a project with out a front clip or doors. He found a donor 1978 and used the front clip, doors, the TH-350 and driveshaft to get it back on the road. He then put in the crate engine from a local speed shop (I have all receipts) along with the electric fans. He also spent $6000 on a completely new black leather 1978 interior (I have no idea why he chose the 78 vs 70). The drivers seat shows minor wear, but the rest of the interior is in near perfect condition. Finally, he replaced the rear suspension, all new trailing arms, and installed new bilstein shocks. Two years ago the car was painted using Autoair Pearl Blue over a light blue base and finished with 6 coats of House of Kolor clear. The paint gets compliments everywhere she goes. Last year I installed the hooker hot jet coated sidepipes with hooker glasspack mufflers. At that time I also replaced the plugs with NGK's, got new 8mm Accel wires, along with a new cap and rotor, and installed the AN -6 fuel line, rail, and pressure gauge from the pump to the carb. I also put in a be cool aluminum radiator, high flow water pump, 180 degree thermostat, trans cooler and new battery. The wheels are fresh 15" rallies with new trim rings. The front tires are 225 and the rears are 255 all with plenty of tread. The headlights work perfectly. There is a long style hood on the car so there is no wiper door to malfunction. The problems: The gas gauge only works when the tank is less than 1/3 full (do you even care when its full) and the clock is fast. The frame has minimal surface rust in some areas, the rest still has factory paint.. The TH-350 transmission shifts nicely, but has a small leak from the front seal. Engine: 300 hp crate engine installed in 2001, has 7436 miles on it Holley 650 carb Performer RPM intake New wires and plugs Hooker sidepipes Edelbrock valve covers and 14" aircleaner Be-cool aluminum radiator Flex-a-lite dual electric fans new high flow water pump New rear tires last summer The car is mechanically sounds and is a blast to drive.. My planned future projects where to replace the front suspension bushings and get under the car with a wire brush and POR-15 the chassis (POR-15 is a rust eating paint designed to cover chassis with minor surface rust). The car drives great, no rattles, tracks straight, the tires have plenty of tread on them. The car gets attention where ever I take it. If you would like me to take pictures of any thing else on the car please ask and I will get it to you asap. If you are local I encourage you to see it in person. Give me a call if you have any questions. 708-466-68 six five. I am listing the car locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. $500 is due with 48 hours of the action ending, the remainder within 7 days. chevy chevrolet sports car stingray sting ray muscle car classic hot rod camaro vette chrome bumper
