Up for auction is a 1968 mercury cougar. This is a nice barn find. This 1968 cougar has a 302 motor and auto trans the motor was rebuilt a few years back but it has only had about 400 miles put on it. It has been sitting for about 5 years now. The motor will run but only of a jug of gas as the tank smells bad. The car has power steering and power brakes. Someone fixed the floor pans so they look solid. The front frame rails and shock towers look great. The rear quarters will need work. The rear frame rails are getting a little rust on the bottom of them.The inside of the trunk is not to bad. All the glass is in the car windshield has a rock chip. There is a large box of parts more seats and trim panels and enough chrome trim for 2 cars that come with the car. The door tag reads Body 65a Col l Trim 2a Date 16a DSO 42 AX 5 Trans w This is a nice project car that needs to be put back togather or strip it for it's parts.
