UP FOR BID 1978 MERCEDES BENZ SL CLASS 280 SL VERY CLEAN CAR FROM GERMANY This auction features a beautiful 1978 Mercedes Benz convertible. This is a SL Class 280 SL. This clean, all original Mercedes Benz Roadster is in very good condition with everything working. This car comes with both the hard top and the soft top. The soft top is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or repairs. This rare Mercedes Benz is a German made and purchased vehicle. The current owner (only the 2nd) bought the vehicle in Germany in the Mid 1980's. The vehicle is garage stored. Vehicle gauges are all in European, Kilometers for speedometer and odometer. The car has 248,327 Kilometers on it which is approx. 154,240 miles. Vehicle has a great in line 6 cylinder engine with automatic transmission. The car has a couple of small door dings on the passenger side (see photos). The driver's seat shows small signs or wear on seat bottom and side (see photos). Car runs and drives out great at all speeds. Vehicle comes with maintenance records from Germany. The car has free and clear Michigan Title and is ready to sell.
