View Our Other Listings | Contact Us | Print this listing 1998 DODGE RAM 3500 QUAD CAB CUMMINS DIESEL 5 SPEED @@ Jimmie's Deals1602 South MarketHearne, TX 77859 Call Us Today979 280 0138Ask Us A Question Vehicle Details Year: 1998 Make: Dodge Model: Other VIN: 1B7MC3361WJ230644 Mileage: 234175 Transmission: Unspecified Engine: 6 Cylinder, 5.9 L Exterior Color: Other Interior Color: Gray Title: Clear Description BEING OFFERED IS AS GOOD OF A 1998 DODGE AS YOU CAN FIND ANYWHERE!!! this truck is being sold at no reserve! but it is for sale locally for $8000 and will remain for sale until it has been paid in full. the mileage on the truck will be higher than i have in the listing because this truck is driven daily and is currently on a trip to new york. this truck was bought new here in Texas, my brother in-law has owned this truck since 1998. through the years i have borrowed this truck more than a few times and have been all over the U.S. in it personally. and would head out anywhere in this truck right now with complete confidence. the truck has already had all of the problems associated with the 98 dodges. the transmission was completely rebuilt and fixed where the fifth gear nut woill not be a problem again. it has had the lift pump and injection pump replaced and he added a fuel pressure gauge to the left of the steering column so that if the lift pump goes out again you would know it before it ruined the injection pump. the exterior of the truck is very presentable although it does have a few small things i took pictures. the dent in the tailgate, the dent in the front bumper and the top plastic piece of the bumper missing. there are some scratches, scrapes and scuffs but overall this is still a very sharp looking truck. he added the aluminum alcoa wheels. the tires on the front look like they were put on yesterday. the rear tires are almost as good, i would say @75-80% life left. it has a gooseneck hitch and brake control box and the truck pulls excellent. the interior is in about the same shape as the exterior. for its age and mileage it is in excellent shape but has a few things to mention. like most of these trucks the dash is cracked in a few spots. the carpet could use a little cleaning. there is a rip in the edge of the driver seat @ an inch long. the power windows work perfect. all the gauges work. the a/c is cold enough to even cool you down in this texas heat! the truck gets excellent fuel mileage. as the picture shows at it has almost 200 miles on this tank and is barely down to 3/4 of a tank. this truck starts right up with a touch of the key, it runs just like it did they day it had 6000 miles on it. it does everything it is supposed to and nothingthat it should'nt! it had a new clutch put in when the transmission was rebuilt within the last year. as said before the tires are excellent and the a/c is plenty cold. this is a truck that you can get and hook up to whatever you want to pull and head out! the truck is located at 1602 s. market hearne texas 77859 and is available for inspection. JUST TO ANSWER THE QUESTION BEFORE ITS EVEN ASKED, the truck is for sale locally for $8500 the auction is starting at $6000 and will sell to the highest bidder unless it is sold locally. the truck will remain for sale until paid in full. i sell alot of dodge trucks and the first person that looks at this truck in person and drives it will gladly pay the $8500.
this truck was bought new here in central Texas by a local NFL player that only put 6000 miles on it. my brother in-law bought the truck when he traded it in and has owned it ever since. through the years i have borrowed this truck more than a few times and have been all over the U.S. in it personally. and would head out anywhere in this truck right now with complete confidence.
the truck has already had all of the problems associated with the 98 dodges. the transmission was completely rebuilt and fixed where the fifth gear nut woill not be a problem again. it has had the lift pump and injection pump replaced and he added a fuel pressure gauge to the left of the steering column so that if the lift pump goes out again you would know it before it ruined the injection pump.
the exterior of the truck is very presentable although it does have a few small things i took pictures. the dent in the tailgate, the dent in the front bumper and the top plastic piece of the bumper missing. there are some scratches, scrapes and scuffs but overall this is still a very sharp looking truck. he added the aluminum alcoa wheels. the tires on the front look like they were put on yesterday. the rear tires are almost as good, i would say @75-80% life left. it has a gooseneck hitch and brake control box and the truck pulls excellent.
the interior is in about the same shape as the exterior. for its age and mileage it is in excellent shape but has a few things to mention. like most of these trucks the dash is cracked in a few spots. the carpet could use a little cleaning. there is a rip in the edge of the driver seat @ an inch long. the power windows work perfect. all the gauges work. the a/c is cold enough to even cool you down in this texas heat! the truck gets excellent fuel mileage. as the picture shows at it has almost 200 miles on this tank and is barely down to 3/4 of a tank.
this truck starts right up with a touch of the key, it runs just like it did they day it had 6000 miles on it. it does everything it is supposed to and nothingthat it should'nt! it had a new clutch put in when the transmission was rebuilt within the last year. as said before the tires are excellent and the a/c is plenty cold. this is a truck that you can get and hook up to whatever you want to pull and head out!
