A doctor in Memphis TN bought this car new in 1979 and drove it for about 1 year then sold it to my sister who owned it for about 10 years. I bought it from her in roughly 1991/1992 and drove it for about 2 years until the day I bought a new car at which time I pulled the ZX in to my garage and parked it. It has been sitting there since. In 2004 I had a new fuel pump put on it and drove it around for a day and then returned it to the garage where it still sits. It turns over but doesn't crank now. It simply doesn’t fire. The car never gave me or my sister any mechanical trouble. It was never wrecked that we know of as neither of us ever had it in a body shop for any work whatsoever. The paint is original and beautiful. It has normal wear as far as small nicks & dings expected of a car over 30 years old. There is some oxidation/crazing around the gas cap on the right quarter panel. The tires are old but have very very low milage. The car is rust free. It has never been parked outdoors since I quit driving it years ago. This car is a perfect car to restore. Solid. The interior needs attention. The seats are worn out but have covers. The door panels are in great shape, no rips or tears. There is one crack in the dash. The headliner is in tact but needs replacing. The body is solid.
