Vehicle Detail
Up for auction, with a low reserve, 1600.00, is my 1987 300 zx. It is in great shape for the year, one of the best you'll see on Ebay. Body and Interior are in very good condition. Paint is almost perfect and I believe it to be the origina paint. This car has been taken care of by its previous owner, which was the 2nd owner I was told when I bought this car over a year ago. In the last month, I have had a new transmission put into this car, a new flywheel, a new cluch pack, the exhaust manifold has been replaced and updated with newer stainless hardware so that it will not corrode or rust together for some time. It also has new tires, with less than 5k on them. In the last year I have put over 2k into this car, it drives like a dream and is plenty fast for an N/A car. The handling is good, the brakes are good as well, I had all these systems checked when I had the work done on the tranny. IT has a fresh oil change and the maintenance has already been performed. Its a good car. I had the AC retrofitted for the new freon and it has no vaccuum leaks or freon loss, only reason AC doesnt work is because of the head unit in the dash needs to be replaced. The actual control unit. Also, someone stole the stereo out of this car so it could use a stereo and the dash AC controls. Those are the only things I know of that this car needs. The interior is quite nice, dash is perfect, seats are really good, but the carpet is a lil faded, Esp the carpet under the hatch, it is sun damaged and could stand to be replaced for it to look realy nice and new. A new headliner wouldnt help either. I have described this car to the best of my abilities and as far as I know in detail. It can be viewed in Columbus, NC and is for sale locally as well. THis would be a good car for a teenager or for a Z collector looking for a driver. I can be reached at DrRyanScarsella@Yahoo.com for any questions or you can call me at 864-621-3069. Thanks for looking. On Aug-24-10 at 12:46:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I Just started the Z up and noticed the tach isnt working, it was last time I started it so Im thinking the needle may be stuck. Im not totally sure but just noticed it so Im letting everyone know. Also, someone asked a question about Rust, this car has no reust anywhere on the bodywork or in the wheel wells or floors. It may have some red clay on the undercarriage from our area, but no rust. This car has not been driven in snow. it was bought new here and has been here all its life. Also it burns no oil, I havent had to add any between oil changes so far but this has been my extra car so it sits a lot.
