Vehicle Detail

Thank you for looking at my auction. I have a 1970 Chevy Chevelle for sale. I bought this car November of 2009 with plans on building this car but with my sons schooling and work I have not had the time to bother with starting it. So I have decided to finally just sell it. I have a DE clear title, the title is still in the persons name I bought the car from with a bill of sale to me. Title can be swapped to my name and to yours with no problem just 1 trip to the local DMV if you wish. Owner I bought this car from put exempt on the mileage so true mileage is unknown atm. The original owner did say this car used to run good he also stated he had motor work done to the insides like cams but not sure about anything else. It does have a gm orange rebuilt motor and the heads were taking off at one time so I would believe this. I have not had this running since I never bought a fuel cell or pump since I did not want to disturb the tank or original fuel lines. The carb was seized up I took it off to free it up just havn't put it back on yet. The carb is a holley 650 double pump and also has a intake and some other random mods. This is a 350 motor, 350 trans. As you will see from the pictures this car needs alot of work and you can see it since there is no bondo or fresh paint to hide anything there is rust everywhere as to be expected with its age. The doors close good without the sag that they usually do get the front seats were replaced with Chevy Berretta seats the back is supposed to be the original I have misc chrome trims sitting in the car for the outsides all glass is there, the column was replaced at some time with a chevy camaro column. The front suspension I believe was swapped out for the power disc brakes. There is 3 rally wheels and 1 oddball on the car. Brakes are shot on the car pedal goes to the floor and lines are rusted out. Rear bumper is from a 1971 Chevelle. Hood is a ss hood that is rotted out basically. 8/22/10 Revision I added more pictures I had questions about floor pans and condition. I lifted up some of the carpet and only found a few rust holes. From what I could see and feel 96% or better of the floor metal in the car seems to be pretty good the trunk lock did not open so I tried to take a shot from the backseat. I also added better pictures of the motor from side angles. What I can see on the external of the motor is M/T valve covers, accell coil, Elderbrock intake. Inside the oil cap the head also has the gm orange and looks clean, after market headers, after market belt driven fan. Back seats are in good condition only small area on the edge trim has small nicks in it other then that seats look great. The speedo shows 36,713 miles I do not know the true mileage but decided to take the pic and show it. I tried to get a carfax but since the vehicle is so old I can not. I added a buy it now for anyone considering this car since there is a lot of viewers and watchers already. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to email me I try to check my email often. If you would like to see the car in person we can also set something up. There is no warranty expressed or implied in any way considering the age of the vehicle and condition. This is a project car alot of rust a holes which you can see. Thank you for taking the time to look and hope this is something that works for you. I have 100% positive feedback and plan to keep it that way so know that I will work with you to make sure you understand what you are getting. I had some questions about rust holes on the quarters. inner and outer quarters do have rust holes. Under the car the frame looks good from front to back. I found no rust holes at all on the frame for the age of the car it looks pretty good, body mounts are all there and look to be holding well. The car to me does not show any previous accident tell tail signs frame looks good with 1 slight dip on the bottom from someone jacking the car up in the middle. only effected the bottom lip side and top were fine. There are over 60 watchers now and 2,000 views so Good Luck Bidding!! If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to email me I try to check my email often.
