1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet (993). 3.6L engine, Polar Silver with black top and Grey interior. I am the second owner, I leased the car when it had 24000 miles back in 2001 and then bought it in 2006 when the lease was up. It now has 44800 miles. The car has always been garage kept and only driven during the summer months. Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape. Recently it has had an oil change, new distributer caps and rotors, new fuel filter and new DME relay. Brakes were done approximately 5,000 miles ago. All of the required maintenance has been done along with all of the recalls. The car has had one repaint. I had it done just to freshen up the look, not because it needed it. The car has no rust and as you can see from the pictures, very little interior wear. It has the original tool kit, air pump kit, spare tire and even the plastic gloves that came with it. The original manual comes with the car and includes the hard cover presentation book that came with the 95 models. It has the original Blaupunkt radio and the 6 CD Changer is factory installed and mounted in the trunk. I have a bra that goes with the car but I didn't put it on for the pictures so that everyone could see it wasn't hiding any defects. I wish that I could tell you that it was all good but there are some items that are not as good as I wish they were. The top is an aftermarket top and the fit is not as good as the factory top. It functions exactly as the factory and the back window is clear but as you can see in the pictures, the look is a little less than a factory top would be. I priced a factory top and it was around $1,500 without the motors so if you wanted to go back to factory that is the cost. The tires in back need to be replaced and I am including 2 new tires, you just will need to have them mounted. There is a crack in the taillight lens in the back but I have ordered a new one and it will be replaced before the end of the auction. I am selling it because my wife says I have too many cars and I have to admit she is right. I just don't get to drive it very much and it is a shame, it is hardly broken in! I checked with both NADA and Kelly Blue Book and they put the value at anywhere between 20 and 23K. My reserve is thousands below that, I want to see it go to someone who will enjoy it and baby it as much as I did. I will require a deposit of $1,000 to be paid via PayPal within 48 hours of the end of the auction. The balance must be paid within 5 days of the end of the auction by bank certified check or cash. If paying by check, the check will need to clear before pick up of the car. Shipping is the resonsibility of the buyer, I will assist your shipper as much as I can.
