Price for this is 5000.00, I reduced it from 8000. 5000 is my bottom dollar. Get the calculator out if you feel the need.. there is well over 10,000.00 in parts listed... And these parts are new.. Been out one time.. Minus the tranny:) keep readin' I do not want to part this out cause I got no place to go with all the parts or the chassis and body without the parts on it! I just completed this build on my K1500. Before I go through all the details I will give ya the problem. After finishing the truck we took it out for its maiden voyage.. I had initially planned on selling it after we took it out one time and still plan on doing so.. The only difference is we broke the transmission housing. The tail of the housing broke because the front driveshaft was too long and did not have enough up travel. If you have or can get a 4l60e housing then you could swap out the componenents from my tranny to that one.. That is if you decided to keep the truck. Otherwise the money for this truck is in the parts that are put into it. They are as follows: Off Road Unlimited (ORU) Sway Bar Kit ORU Trac Bar Kit ORU Crossover Steering ORU Solid Axle Swap Kit Complete Off Road Heavy Duty Tie Rod and ends Completely overhauled 1978 Ford Dana 60 High Pinion King Pin The Dana 60 has new Yukon 4.56 Gears, No Locker, New Short Inner Chromoly Inner Yukon Axle Shaft, New Chromoly Yukon 35 Spline Outers, (The long shaft is stock since Yukon was out of stock of them) Yukon Drive Flanges instead of locking hubs. The housing was completely sanded down and repainted. New SOLID Heavy Duty Differential Cover. All new King Pins, bearings, etc. from Yukon. Off Road Design NP203/205 Doubler complete with the modded shift rails and triple stick kit for independent front wheel drive. Red Neck Ram Hydraulic Assist Steering New front and Rear Tom Woods Driveshafts (again, the front driveshaft needs to be shortened.. this was my miscalculation when it was made) New Tom Woods NP205 1350 Front Yoke and Rear Flange New Tom Woods 1350 Series Yoke for the Dana 60 The Rear axle is a 14 Bolt Corporate with a Detroit Locker, 4.56 Gears.. Bought complete from Custom Differentials. This got the disc brake conversion from Black Birds Custom Trucks. The springs are new from Atlas Leaf Spring and are 11" rear and 8" front (the rear SAS kit provides 3" of lift) Off Road design Shackle flip for the rear. The transmission was recently rebuilt by AAMCO (Less than 5,000 miles, obviously needs a new housing now...) The engine is a reman from Jasper Engines (Has about 60,000 Miles) I don't really consider the truck as part of the price I have listed.. It's more or less just thrown in as a way to move all of the parts :) But Hey, if you like it, feel free to just fix the tranny and go! Oh and last but not least, 5 (full size spare included) 38.5 x 14.50 Pitbull Maddogs.. The spare is brand new and the rest of the tires have less than 3,000 miles on them.. They are mounted on Allied Wheel Black Rock 8 Beadlocks (these are not fake beadlocks if you were wondering, all 5 tires are mounted on the beadlocks) I believe that was everything.. Like I said the money for this truck is in the parts themselves... I have had enough of working on this big stuff and am simply selling this so that I can get a Polaris RZR.. I know.. much wimpier but hey.. I've bought this truck from my dad 5-6 years ago and have been building it up ever since! I'm just ready to move on to something new! This project really burned me out:)
