Up for your consideration is this superb 1955 Chevy short box big rear window pickup. This truck had just one owner for over 45 years that just also happened to be a GM mechanic. It was fully restored about 15,000 miles ago and is in excellent condition throughout. It is very straight, solid and tight. No rust ever anywhere. It is equipped with original numbers matching 235 six with a 3 speed overdrive transmission. Runs and drives like it just rolled off the showroom. All guages and lights work, including the original radio. It has been upgraded to have in column turn signals and electric windshield wipers. All the chrome is excellent as well as the oak wood bed. Brand new Uniroyal Tiger Paws all around on 6 lug GM ralley wheels with all new trim rings and center caps. I can confidently say this 55 Chevy pickup has to be among the finest offered in this country for my asking price. I have sold several vehichles on Ebay up to including a Viper without any problems. Actual indicated mileage on odometer says about 69,230 so actual true total mileage my be unknown. Also the rearend gear carrier set has been replaced with higher 3:08 gears negating the the need for the overdrive and dramatically increasing gas mileage.
