Up for bids is a low mileage 2001 ford focus. This was my neighbor's car that he put into a ditch & banged up a few years ago. He had a very high deductible on his nationwide ins. policy. They crunched the numbers & ended up totaling the car. He bought it back from Nationwide & sold it to me. (My son needed a car). There was nothing major wrong with the car .The air bags did not deploy. There were a lot of dents around the bottom, I replaced some panels & windshield and left the dents. Had a front end alignment (aligned perfect), got an inspection and a salvage title, gave it to my son and he's been driving it ever since. He recently bought a new truck and the car has to go. The car needs tires but otherwise very driveable and reliable. Motor & trans are rock solid. Cruise control & AM-FM cassette all work good. Heater fan only works on high. AC was blowing ice cold until fan stopped working on lower speeds. (Mechanic told me it needs fan relay and that woud fix ac and fan) but no promises. Has a crack in windshield from rock. All in all this will be a great little car for someone. Great on on gas & has NEVER failed to start.
