I am selling my 1949 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe after 4 years. It's a solid project car but, I can't afford to keep it anymore because it still needs work. This car has to go and I don't have time for any nonsense so I am listing this vehicle with no reserve. THIS CAR WILL SELL! I purchased the car from an old man in Arkansas in 2006 and I have the Arkansas title if the winning bidder is interested. It is currently registered to me in the State of CT and I own the car outright with no liens. Once the auction has ended and payment has been made, I will sign the car over to the winning bidder. The car originally had a 216 straight 6 and 3 speed manual transmission. I have upgraded to a 283 V-8 from a 1964 Chevrolet Impala with an automatic transmission from a 1955 Chevrolet. The electrical system is updated to 12 volts with electronic ignition. Sorry but I cannot answer any technical questions because I am not a mechanic. I paid other people to do this work for me. The car does run and drive right now. I've taken it to local shows and cruise nights for the last four years. The only thing I can say for sure is the gauges need to be connected. Other than that, I don't know anything about mechanical stuff. I was paying a retired mechanic to have work done as needed. Unfortunately, the man that was helping me passed away and I'm not paying a garage because their labor prices are way too high. So, that's why I had to put it on eBay.
