1962 Ford Thunderbird Roadster This is an original T-bird Roadster with a body code of 89 ...The car is original red with white interior and white top. It features power steering, power brakes, power windows, power driver's seat, power top, tilt away steering wheel, original Ford tonneau cover with headrest, original grab bar. The cars has the original 390 4v engine which runs like new, the transmission works great and shifts smooth, all power options work great including the folding top. The convertible top is also in very good condition and does not need replaced. All of the electrical system is in great condition, with all gauges, radio,heater and lights in working condition. I purchased this car earlier this year with plans on restoring it, however I have spent more time and money on a couple other restoration projects and have decided to sell this roadster. The car will need mostly a cosmetic restoration, including paint, some rust repair, some chrome work, new seat upholstry and other normal restoration items. The floor pans and frame are in very good condition with little to no rust. The car runs and drives but does have a bad brake line at the rear so it is not drivable on the road at this time. The car has a new brake booster and fuel pump installed. Also included is 4 new 215/70/14 whitewall radial tires which are mounted on original black steel wheels, and some new chrome and trim items. I will add more pictures of the interior, motor, and left side by Monday or Tuesday. I have a clear Kentucky title in my name. I am listing this car with no reserve and a very reasonable starting price. Also included but not pictured is the original air cleaner. Also just a note that the tonneau cover is original Ford (not reproduction) however it is from another roadster, that is why it is white with red headrest instead of red with white headrest. I have been out of town so I am just now adding more pics of the vin tag, interior,motor etc. The car does not have factory air conditioner. I also have a 63 Thunderbird for parts so if the winning buyer needs anything from that car I can supply for a very reasonable price. Thanks for looking.
